Human Concerns Committee

We organize and run the food panty and other social outreach initiatives to assist the poor and needy.

Hermanos Unidos por el Amor de Dios

Spanish-language charismatic prayer group; meets Monday evenings at 7:30 in the parish hall in the church basement.

Bible Study Group

Hosts periodic studies of Sacred Scripture and other adult faith formation initiatives.

Young Adult Catholic Fellowship

Young adult group for area Catholics in their 20s and 30s. Meets every third Sunday of the month. The group is a joint effort by Holy Trinity, Saint Peter's in River Edge, and Saint Francis of Assisi in Ridgefield Park. Monthly meetings alternate between the three parishes.

Lazos de Amor Mariano/Bonds of Marian Love

Spanish and English language group which promotes Saint Louis de Montfort's devotion of Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. Consecration classes in both languages are carried out September through June once per week. The groups also hosts a weekly prayer group: Friday evening at 7:30 pm in Spanish and Saturday evening at 6:00 pm in English. Both prayer groups meet in the parish hall in the church basement.

Retiro de Emaús/ Emmaus Retreat

Retreat movement currently offering Spanish-language weekend retreats at the parish.

Lectors

Proclaim the liturgical readings as well as the petitions at Mass.

Nuestra Señora de la Nube

Group devoted to spreading devotion to our Blessed Mother under her title of Our Lady of the Cloud (Nuestra Señora de la Nube), Patroness of Ecuador. Plans the annual Mass and celebration on January 1.

Sacristans

Assist in setting up for Mass and cleaning up after; maintaining liturgical items and assisting the priest in preparing for Mass.

Altar Servers

Assist the priest during the celebration of Mass.

Rosary Society

Meets once per month on first Saturdays, September through May. Promotes the praying of the rosary and the First Five Saturdays devotion of Fatima. Monthly sessions include fellowship and a talk on some Marian topic or aspect of the Faith.

Men's Breakfast

Meets periodically on Saturday mornings to foster fellowship amongst the men of the parish as well as receive formation on some aspect of the Faith.

Ushers

Greet and assist the faithful as they arrive for Mass and assist in taking up the collection. Tidy up after Masses and lock up the church after the last Mass of the day. Ushers are also trained in CPR and how to use a defribillator.

Carnival Committee

Organizes the annual carnival every May. Planning meetings begin in the autumn.

Filipino-American Group (FIL-AM)

Apostolate for our Filipino-American population. Organizes the second Sunday of the month Mass in Tagalog as well as the annual Simbang Gabi Masses and party leading up to Christmas.

Holy Trinity Seniors/La Tercera Edad

Group for the seniors of the parish. Meetings and events include formation in prayer as well as social gatherings and trips.

Courage

Support group for Catholics experiencing same-sex attraction and who are seeking to live a chaste life in accord with the Gospel.

Nuestra Señora de Chiquinquirá

Group devoted to the Blessed Mother under her title of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá, Patroness of Colombia.

Visitors to the Sick and Homebound

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who assist the priests in visiting the homebound and sick. Must already be a trained and instituted extraordinary minister of Holy Communion.
